Jeff the Wild Man recently ranked the Die Hard movies from worst to first.  Naturally, we gave you the chance to do your own rankings.  Here’s what readers came up with.

There wasn’t a whole lot of debate over the ranking of the Die Hards.  The top and bottom picks were unanimous.  That is the first time that has ever happened in Worst to First.  For the most part, readers agreed with Jeff’s list.  But there was some shuffling in the middle.  Let’s take a look.

Die Hard 5

100% of readers agreed that A Good Day to Die Hard was the worst of the bunch.  So I guess if we all agree, we can move on.

Die Hard 4

Readers put the series’ only PG-13-rated entry, Live Free or Die Hard in fourth place.  More than half of readers ranked Live Free in fourth place.  That left less than half of readers putting it in 2nd or 3rd place.  Only 15% of those ranked Live Free second which wasn’t enough to pull the movie up from second to last place.
Since the top and bottom spots were unanimous, it really came down to who got the most 2nd place votes.
Jeff put Die Hard 2 in this position, but readers swapped them out.

Die Hard 2

That put Die Hard 2: Die Harder in third place.  This is the movie readers appeared to be the most divided about.  It scored about evenly with readers in 2nd, 3rd and 4th places.  It was no one’s favorite or least favorite.

Die Hard 3

That leaves the third movie, Die Hard With a Vengeance, in second place.  Mirroring the voting on Live Free or Die Hard, more than half of voters named With a Vengeance as their second favorite movie.  Jeff also picked it as his second favorite.

Die Hard - 1988

And of course the original Die Hard was the unanimous top pick.  We’ve never had a single unanimous vote before so it’s kind of crazy to have two in the same poll.
Looks like this is another short Readers Rank.  Last time we had a short one, I reviewed the new Indiana Jones themed restaurant at Disney World.  Unfortunately, there is no Die Hard restaurant.  I would totally eat there if there was one.  Preferably set in a recreation of Nakatomi Plaza.  Unfortunately, no one has built such an establishment… yet.
But Bruce Willis is a partner in the Planet Hollywood chain of restaurants and hotels, so I looked for some Die Hard memorabilia there.

Not surprisingly, a lot of John McClane’s dirty laundry adorns the walls of Planet Hollywood chain restaurants.  But here’s something I wasn’t expecting.  The Planet Hollywood Hotel in Vegas has a Die Hard room with a fantastic view.  Here is a video put up by a woman who had the room comped for her stay.

Her narration is going to annoy some people, but I think it’s pretty hysterical how unimpressed she is with the Die Hard theme.
